Gurgaon: BJP works with a vision and mission, while Congress is the “most corrupt party” that works on the basis of commission, Haryana BJP chief Mohanlal Badoli said on Monday. He was campaigning for the party’s Gurgaon candidate Mukesh Sharma.
“Congress’ name should be written in the Guinness Book of World Records for corruption. It has never completed any work without playing the commission game.During the Commonwealth Games, a chair worth Rs 100 was rented by Congress for Rs 900. There are many such examples. Whether it is defence deals or the import of any food or non-food items, Congress has always taken its commission first. It has the most corrupt govt, indulging in divisive politics and riding on a ship of lies,” said Badoli.
Continuing his scathing attack on Congress, Badoli said it not only practices caste politics but is also an ardent opponent of sanatan dharma. “Congress, which calls Lord Ram imaginary and Ram Setu a myth, is now claiming to be descendants of Dattatreya Brahmins after being sidelined. During elections, Rahul Gandhi roams around wearing a sacred thread over his coat but never talks about sanatan dharma on normal days,” Badoli added.
BJP MP Mahesh Sharma, who was also in the city on Monday to campaign for Mukesh Sharma, said comprehensive development is only possible under BJP.
Meanwhile, Congress’ Gurgaon candidate Mohit Grover said in the past 10 years, BJP has given citizens nothing but problems and troubles. “Now, it is time for change. The only way to solve these issues is to ensure the city’s participation in govt. Under the leadership of Bhupinder Singh Hooda, a Congress-led govt is going to be formed in the state,” he said.
